FRS Co-Op Achieves Bronze Accreditation in Investors in Diversity

FRS Co-Op has been awarded the Bronze accreditation in Investors in Diversity by the Irish Centre for Diversity — a nationally recognised milestone that affirms our commitment to building a workplace that values fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion, and engagement.

Investors in Diversity Bronze affirms that we have built a strong foundation to embed #FREDIE™ (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement) across the operation and are equipped for the journey of becoming more equitable and inclusive.

This recognition comes as a result of a dedicated organisation-wide effort to develop and implement policies and practices that promote a culture where everyone can thrive. Our goal is not just compliance, but long-term, meaningful change.

Investors in Diversity is Ireland’s premier FREDIE accreditation. The programme recognises existing efforts and supports the journey of continuous improvement by providing a holistic and structured framework to transform practices and culture.

“Achieving this accreditation is a testament to our people-first values and our belief that inclusion should be built into the core of how we operate. It’s an important milestone — and just the beginning of our ongoing journey.” – Aisling Morrison, Group Head of HR, FRS Co-Op.

This achievement closely follows the release of our latest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, which outlines our ongoing efforts to operate responsibly and sustainably. The Investors in Diversity Bronze award reflects the ‘Social’ pillar of our ESG commitments, highlighting our work in building a more inclusive and respectful workplace for all.

As we celebrate this achievement, we also acknowledge that this is a stepping stone. The Investors in Diversity programme encourages continuous development — and FRS Co-Op is already looking ahead to attaining Silver and ultimately Gold status in the years to come.

Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, FRS Co-Op is active in every town and village across the country, employing over 2,000 people across the group and generating an annual turnover of approximately €100 million.

Our group comprises a diverse set of business units including FRS Recruitment, FRS Farm Services, FRS Fencing, FRS Training, FRS Contract Services, Turas Nua, and WrkWrk — all united by a shared purpose: to deliver impactful services and opportunities to individuals, communities, and businesses throughout Ireland.

At FRS Co-Op, we believe that creating an inclusive workplace is not a one-time project, but a continuous journey. We are proud of this milestone and remain committed to embedding equity and inclusion across everything we do.
