FRS Co-Op is proud to announce that we have been awarded Investors in Diversity Silver Accreditation by the Irish Centre for Diversity, recognising our commitment to building an inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
As one of Ireland’s leading social enterprises, FRS Co-Op continues to invest in creating a workplace where diversity, equity and inclusion are embedded across every part of our organisation, from FRS Recruitment and FRS Farm Services, to FRS Training, FRS Fencing, Turas Nua, and WrkWrk
The accreditation is a significant milestone in our diversity and inclusion journey, acknowledging the progress we have made in embedding inclusive practices across our organisation while providing a clear roadmap for continued improvement.
The Investors in Diversity accreditation is awarded following an independent assessment that examines an organisation’s approach to diversity, equity and inclusion through employee feedback, leadership, workplace practices and organisational culture. FRS Co-Op achieved Silver Accreditation at the “Building Momentum” level, demonstrating that diversity and inclusion are becoming firmly embedded across the business.
The assessment also highlighted several key strengths, including:
- Strong leadership and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Recruitment, retention and progression practices that exceeded national benchmark levels.
- An overall inclusion score closely aligned with the national benchmark.
This achievement reflects the collective efforts of colleagues across the FRS Co-Op group and reinforces our belief that diverse perspectives, inclusive leadership and equal opportunities create a stronger organisation for our employees, customers and the communities we serve.

While we are proud to have achieved Silver, we recognise that creating an inclusive workplace is an ongoing journey. The accreditation provides valuable insights that will help shape the next phase of our diversity and inclusion strategy as we continue working towards Investors in Diversity Gold Accreditation.
