At FRS Co-Op, supporting rural communities and farming families is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we were incredibly proud to take part in this year’s Wear Our Wellies (WOW) Day 2026, raising vital funds for Embrace FARM, an organisation that provides support to farm families affected by serious injury and sudden loss.

This year’s WOW Day brought together staff, members, friends, and local communities across the country in true farming spirit. From wellies in the workplace to community fundraising efforts, there was a wonderful sense of togetherness and support throughout the campaign.

Over €4,000 Raised for Embrace FARM

Thanks to the generosity and kindness of everyone involved, we are delighted to share that over €4,000 was raised through this year’s fundraiser.

A special contribution came from FRS Co-Op, which proudly raised €1,500 towards the final total. Every donation, no matter the size, helped support the incredible work Embrace FARM continues to do for farming families throughout Ireland.

Supporting Those Behind the Farm Gate

Farming is more than a job, it’s a way of life built on family, resilience, and community. Sadly, many families across rural Ireland have experienced the devastating impact of serious farm accidents or sudden loss.

Embrace FARM provides a compassionate support network for those families, helping them through some of life’s most difficult moments with understanding, care, and practical support. Their work reminds us all of the importance of standing together as a farming community.
