FRS Co-op were delighted to collaborate with the Hospice to raise €2,000 funds for the charity in September. Anthony Bourke, Pat Nevin and Ramsey Nolan from the Hospice charity once again looked after the tea and coffee station on our stand at the Ploughing where they not only provided hot drinks, but also friendly smiles and chats each day as people took a break from the busy track ways. Visitors kindly made donations to the charity throughout the 3-day event.
In addition, a coffee morning organised by our colleague Carmel Moloney was held at FRS Co-op head office in Roscrea with all donations also going to the Hospice.
Upon receiving donation Anthony Bourke, representative from the Hospice charity said, “ we are very grateful to Colin and his team at FRS for allowing us to fundraise at the Ploughing, and for donations received from the coffee morning at FRS. A huge thanks to everyone who donated”.
Colin Donnery, Group CEO of FRS Co-op said, “We are delighted to have representatives from the Hospice charity back at the FRS stand at the Ploughing each year, they are always a welcomed addition, and it is great to support this local charity and all the work that they do”.
A huge thanks to everyone that donated and helped raise this sizable funding for this important charity. These donations will most certainly be put to good use in the community.
